“The purpose of therapy is to strengthen emotional resiliency to improve the quality of relationships and deepen personal authenticity.”
Thank you for visiting …. I have lived away from the United States most of my adult life, settling in Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2009. I work online with the international community in Asia understanding the unique challenges and joys of living abroad. Being away from home can lead to relationship stress, cultural adjustment, lack of familiar support, and missing friends and family at home.
As a therapist, I value the power of imagination, relationships, humor, and creativity, but I have a strong belief in the ethics of personal responsibility as a foundation for psychological health. I see counseling as a safe and nonjudgmental partnership to explore the details of your situation to find the best way of restoring direction and balance.
About Todd
Originally from Tennessee, United States, I have a Masters degree in Depth counseling psychology and an extensive background in Jungian dream analysis. I transitioned to Thailand in 2009 to study meditation and comparative religion. I have professional counseling experience within school settings, business consultation, front-line crisis intervention, drug and alcohol treatment centers, and US military service members at bases overseas, but my passion remains working with clients in private practice.
